FifA is a good game but why cannot play be a pro online against my mates on xbox live?
Anyways another problem, theres no dirt on kits and no weather conditions!!! I want to play in rain or snow..is there anyway where somebody can modify this? for the xbox 360

Fifa is 8/10: Just needs a minor few twitches and we got a hell of a game

9/10 specially when you take off any type of computer assistance (eg. passing, shooting, player switching). Graphics should be better for next year, of course the refs, and other little things like that, that could be added easy no problem, i wouldn't be surprised if EA releases some updates on PSN and XboxLive since now it can do that... online is great, and well be a pro is called "Be a pro: offline training". so it goes to tell you it will eventually go nline, just like EA has announced it will eventually be an 10 on 10 match. EA has finally cracked the code, compared to 07, wow soo much improvement, i still am barely getting the hang of the game, and i've been putting lots f time into it... I still have to play the current generation versions, and the Wii version, but the PS3 is something that completely blew me away.

The Game Looks great.its the best soccer game ever..the Next Gen Version..on PS3..and even sleep..All Day Long...But lol its kinda mess and annoying cos u keeps playin 80% of your matches on the same staduim.which is stupid...thats what i hate about the game..
  • Young · 2 years ago
    ooh and i rate 8/10.
  • Ivan · 2 years ago
true, but i like how the small clubs stadiums lighting suck... it's cool... but true more diversity in stadiums, if atleast thay can't license all of them.

Hm, the stats of game's sales almost confirms Your ratings:

However, according to sales results and some comments of the gamers, some FIFA versions shouldn't be highly rated, for example that one for PC...

I just enjoying this game for almost a week since i had installed to my PC. I love WE 9 but i score 9/10 to FIFA 08.

How can i play with Adidas Red Ball at Career on EPL? Can somebody advise me how to pick a ball whatever you want for playing the game?
From my experience, FIFA 08 always provide a NIKE blue ball when you on EPL and Adidas red ball on MLS.
  • Ivan · 2 years ago
you have to unlck them so you can assign them, althought for league matches such as career mode they use the real balls that are used in the leagues. spain=nike blue italy=nike red etc. etc.

i would give the game 8.5/10 bad points are the same stadiums over and over in season mode but you learn to ignore it after a while, another thing is how easy it is to get your players to agree to silly wages, like i can get most players in my man utd team to agree to cut their wages by up to 50% with a 5 year extension without any fight. It does help though when you start bringing in over £500k each home game and roughly £300k for away games after players wages have been paid.

this fifa makes pes 2008 look like a kids game that belongs on the wii

PES a kids game? Iam sorry but Pro Evo 2008 (360) is the best Pro Evo out (well not better than Pro Evo 5), believe me i bought FIFA 08 when it came out and returned for PES 2008..
Fifa has the all the real kits etc ..but the gameplay is not good ..i played one match in Pro Evo 2008, it blew me away , i have neva lookd back since..

well if you like crosses with the option of near post, far post or low cross and that are twice as powerful as shots, players running like they've just come straight from an audition for baywatch, unrealistic players response times (very fast) sprinting in straight lines and passes that are as straight as a ruler with little or no ball movement and fouls with even yellow cards for breathing on a player then pes is fine...but it doesn't scream out great gameplay to me. And that coming from someone who has bought ISS/PES for the last 8 years and got so tired of the game releases getting worse and worse each year that i decided to go back to fifa which i last bought back in 2000.
  • Ivan · 2 years ago
i've played and enjoyed both pes and fifa in the recent years, but fifa 08 nex gen took the cake... mst definetly...

i luv pes and fifa. However plyed pes and fifa for ps3. blown away by fifa, so realistic. pes... BIG DISSAPOINTMENT, graphics and sound is worse than last year on the ps2! it is very rcadely and kiddy , but fifa is the real simulation this year. 9/10 for fifa, sorry to say but pes 3/10. look even at the pes replays they r awful-dont even run smothly....
