im a little bit dissapointed about the fact that for the next gen there are no pre season fixes they and what is that with the injuries that schould have bin more lookd after for the next version they schould realy implement linsemen ,refs, injuries carried from the field and much more better manager mode and i hope also that they did fix the problem i had with the 07 version for PS2 you didnt recievd the money for winning a certain cup greetz

I'm actually glad at this point that I don't have PS3 yet; the PS3 version seems to be a little lacking still at this point. Nice to see the Dutch national team included though...that's been a top request forever. With that out of the way, hopefully some other long standing requests can move up the list.

I don't know you guys. It sounds like a bit more fun but I feel like some of the frustrations in manager mode will still linger in '08. There should be real money-making scenarios. If you take a second division squad and win every Cup all the way up to the Champion's League, rewards should be given. Players themselves benefit the Club financially because of the apparel they sell and what not. Beckham alone made Real Madrid hundreds of millions.

The list of international squads are not so great. Arab countries are very dominant in Africa and Asia and are no where to be found. Teams like Colombia should should brush the list as the Argentina-Colombia rivalry is the biggest rivarly in South America.

Considering the next-gen consoles FIFA is working with, let's hope there will be much more use of the next-gen's capabilities for this and all upcoming titles.

This EA Sports Guys...Why didn't they add pre-season and training to the meneger mode on Net-Gen.One Game cost over 50euros.and someone who buys it on Current Version will even have more featuren than Next-Gen...this is cheatin mayne...and lil bullsh*t...shit makes me wanna cry.the only differents is the graphic.:@:@:@:@:@

Thats stupid i played a game on my quad core that i played in my xbox 360 and was more smoother than xbox they should have put newer engine and more improved than the this engine that is more like old engine for pc.I can run heavy games like supreme with 50 fps thats stupid.i will not buy this.

Great game, and definitely better than 07. But you still have problems with the create-a player mode, at least for the xbox 360. My player is incapable of doing most trick moves, he is slower than all others (even with all his movement stats jacked), and his stats at the onset of the game are ridiculously bad. Accumulating points through playing games is way too slow, and the points packs are insane. “Score 6 goals with one player” to get 400 points? My guess is that create-a player mode is an after-thought, but it really shouldn’t be.

At first I hated the game slow gameplay and getting around the shooting was a bit tricky (right analogue to guide hot) but after a week of getting stuck in i realised the team gels together and the gameplay gets better as in (06) and as for the shooting well that just took time and patience, but theres one thing I wish you could have in manager mode, the one thing every manager would love the one thing that matters to every manager, the chance to manage their own national team, that would be a great feature being offered the job to manager your national team then we would have a perfect FIFA gaem also I think a great FIFA spin off would be a 3D version of Simon Read's NEW STAR SOCCER how it would be done I don't know but then that would be for the developers and programmers (make them earn their money) but it would be a great game on PS2/3

I like the graphics on the FIFA 08 for new-gen. But their is a couple of things I would like to be added on FIFA 09.1. The argentinian league.2. More points available to created players. this went from good to bad(shouldn't it be the opposite). 3.It would be so awsome if we could add a club from any league to a new league on Managers Mode. 4. If EA decides to add create a team in FIFA 09 for xbox 360 it would be great to actually be able to copy an existing uniform from a differect club, if not give us better options. like brands to add to the uniforms. Cause they look crappy. 5. International managers mode. And this would be our dream game of FIFA. See we don't want much. I mean we are the consumers, we put the food on your table. and here we are begging you for this features. Don't be afraid to please us...Thank you.

Sort out the disconnection issues on the ps3!!!

9 out of 10 times when losing, the person will quit and the game is void, they don't even get a loss for it.

Disconnection should be an automatic loss. I know there are genuine times it happens, but thats just bad luck in that case.

The cheats far outweigh the genuine disconnections.
