I jus have to say that Pro Evoultion Soccer 7 is fantastic. At first i was all up for the Fifa 08 but now iam just completely blown away by Pro Evo, the game is faster, yeh the graphics are poot BUT the gameplay is fantastic, believe me if it wasnt for that Pes demo i would be playing Fifa today,
Sorry EA, but i'll buy your Euro 2008..

yeh playin Pro evo 2008 demo ..it rulz ...graphics r also cool ...Fifa's gamplay suxs but Game modes rule ...but at the end its the gameplay that matters ...so no Fifa till EA fills enough air in thier ball :P

*Sigh* I'm bitter I have to wait two more weeks for the PS3 version of fifa 08 to come to the states. Grr.

I'm fine with Europe getting the game before us, it's cool. Lord knows theres a bigger audience there. But my biggest grudge is in the fact that it's getting both the 360 AND the ps3 version the same day there, but here in the states the ps3 version hits the shelves one week AFTER the 360 version???

So as you can imagine. I'm not happy. But oh well. I'll still keep playing the damn demo.

Ahey Guys i don't know tho.but this the game soccer game ever.them guys who've been playin PES2008 Well Goodluck to yall.But i love this game i so happy with it.i've got both 360 and PS3.but i bought is on PS3.which is great.the gameplay is wonderfull.i didn't even download the PES2008 Demo.cos i know no matter what people says about it.and the gameplay or whatever.that game is nothing for me.even if some gives it to me for free.i will turn it down cos i will need the space for keepin for FIFA 09!!!...EA should keep on doin they thang.even if they make the same game next yr i will buy it again..FIFA for life...LOL but well on the real FIFA 07 on 360 was a big mess.but now they came tru wit the skills move and everythang.next yr what they should do is.add less skill.and (AAD REFS AND LINESMAN)..and sub playin should be sittin' on the bench with the coach and stuff...thats all...for the rest this is a Great Game...Big Up FIFA...anyone of yall wanna say some Git back at me...One Love!!

It came out in Australia early, and i got it and its fantastic. Tricks are hard and Be a pro on Next gen is just friendlys (unless) someone can tell me how to do a be a pro season).

Im fucking pissed, I live in Australia and we got the game first but where I live i cananot get my hands on a copy ofg the PS3 version and I have been waiting for a month pretty much (probably 3 months!) and now I will have to wait a week-or-so I think!

Today, Me and a mate wet in (he wants it on 360) and we could only see FIFA 08 On...get this..

Nintendo Wii, cmon who will buy a Wii and FIFA 08 on it..

fifa is awesome. bought it for ps3 yesterday. best game for ps3! its alot better than the demo, tbh i was slightly dissapointed with the demo, but now the game is out its awesome.
skill moves are hard to pull off in a match, but im sure they will get easier as i keep playing it.
wish you could do be a pro season on ps3! and the growth thing on manager mode is slightly weird. and there is loads more like youth team players which is awesome.
anyway i need to get back to playing it.

Hello i love this game it is the best fifa game i have played. The graphics are amazing so is the online play and the gameplay is brilliant. It will be along time till i get halo 3 as this game is so good.

While respecting the opinion of others, comparing PES to FIFA is really unfair. I mean, give the developers over in Canada some credit.

FIFA is really developing. Three things, the gameplay, the ball, the team.

Gameplay brings a across a more cohesive computer team. Additionally the players team actually have very intuitive players. Running into space with such good timing. The intelligent keeper also add a dimension of realism to the game that has been missing for a while. Gameplay is very impressive.I appreciate the "slower" game, the realistic player collisions and the calculated player movement's.

The computer is actually beginning to "think" unlike previous years. The moves are not easy to master but with time one can appreciate their benefits.

The ball is such a close representation to the real thing. Its reaction to objects and impact is awesome.

Finally, the game is more dynamic. With more fluid body movement. PES is relying on former glory. It had for about 2 years, then it lost it. I dare say KONAMI became complaisant. I do not doubt that they can develop an outstanding product but they seem to have lost the plat lately.

I got FIFA 2008 for the 360 and its really good. The Be A Pro mode is such a welcome addition.

What EA have here is a very focused development path for football gaming. If real additions and not merely new skins, can be made to the game, we have an exciting future ahead of us.

here in the united states the game will be released oct. 9th for all platforms EXCEPT! the PS3, Trust me people I KNOW!!! for the PS3 it's out Oct. 16th. So there! no more misunderstanding, i know this stuff first hand! so yeah... sucks for me, but looks like europe gets a well needed two week head start! lol and well i get a one week head start on my Wii! happy footballing to eryne around the world.

Is it just me? I got FIFA08 for the xbox and two days later I got the message "unable to read disc". It first makes a crackling sound and them throws the error. I returned the disc for a replacement, i am on my second one and I am still getting the same error. I had a look at http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/discreplaceme...
and it seems like something went wrong printing these discs. I will be returning it for my THIRD replacement!

Anyone else getting the same error?

Unfortunately these things happen :-/ I read that Halo 3 had the exact same problem. I guess that's what happen when they print 81 discs per second.

Waiting for 360 Version here in the states...no good. I think its strange however that US version doesn't come out at the same time, since FIFA is developed here in North America at EA Canada.

Anyway, waht's the scoop on saving replays for 360, can you save them during regular gameplay or do you have to be online and upload them? (I'm not connected to Xbox Live)

I have to say im somewhat dissapointed with the team selections..no FK Sarajevo..no Dynamo Kyiv..no CSKA Moscva..nor they're respective leagues,they could have at least put them in the rest of world.Oh well i guess this is what i get for following Eastern Europe Football. Although didnt FIFA O1 have alot of the smaller leagues such as Greece i remember? South America is really lacking as well on here as is most of Eastern Europe. Have they done a better job with the arena's because having the same stadium in 5 different countries is a little tacky.

Ivan....are you stupid. look all over the internet. i haven't seen the release date for the PS3 version to be the 16th anywhere. Look on gamestop.com. it says release 10/09. this is october 9th. I'm not sure why you think it is the 16th, but you just look like a huge douche by saying that! Anyway, i can't wait to play it. the demo is getting a little old.

Have played a lot of Fifa 08 on xbox 360 in the last few weeks and have been having a very cool time with it. The computer is a lot more intelligent now to the point that I am forced to play on amateur/semi-pro instead of pro/world class I was using on 2007.
Have only two complaints which won't affect my playing; the computer players are near impossible to tackle once they have a clean ball, and the computer ends up with fouls being awarded much too regularly for completely innocuous tackles.
Apart from that it is a seriously good game and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys football. Also the multiplayer gameply has now become a lot more dynamic and exciting; the lads I play against regularly are now all on a very similar level due to how much more difficult (and thereby realistic) passing cleanly and finishing has become.

Hey everyone :)

I have Fifa 08 for PS3, I bought it when it was released 27th September. Nordic Release was that day I bought it, UK day after 28th September, and sadly for US it's not release before 9th October.. Really strange it's get released much later then Scandinavia and UK. I'm from Norway if anyone wonders :)

The game is nothing more then just AWESOME, verry hard game if you turn of all the help with passes, crossings, shoots etc, and to have help with the switching players, I have turned it all of, and Manuel on all the helps. It's verry hard when you not got any help, but then you get it as realistic as possible.

But I have a problem with my game I think.. My Game is crashing, and not running smoothly, it lagges when you see the starting lineup, and after half time, and after the game, and if players miss chances noe idea why, and running verry slow in the menu, I talked to alot of persons about it, even EA Support Norway, they told it could be because X-Box got 256 MB more RAM compared to PS3, and that the PS3 version not been made as good as it could have been, since PS3 should have no problems at all running the games totally 100 smooth. And the person I bought it from in the EB game store near me, told the PS3 did not need those Extra RAM to runn games perfectly, so I'm confussed of all the different answers for my problem, and I'm unsure if it's a mistake with the game, or my SoftWare in my PS3 that cause it, or that the game for PS3 just are like that. Since I know EA told they had problems making the versions for PS3 as good as they want, since the PS3 consolle is so new so far..

I wonder if anyone else that got the game so far having any problems like I had so far with the PS3 version for Fifa 08? All help is greatly appreciated :) I'm gonne Try get a new game this week, I will change the one I got to see if that helps. I hope so, if not maybe I have to change my PS3, since then maybe it's something wrong with my PS3..

But I can highly recommend Fifa 08 for PS3, or X-Box 360

MY GF got Fifa 08 for X-Box 360 Elite, it runns smooth all over the game, fast in the menu, no lagging in the game at all. So it's sounds strange the PS3 versions should have those problems.. I really hope someone hear can help me, or after the persons in US buy it this week, can tell if they got the same problems.. I would really appreciate any help :)

this really is a wonderful game and i hav been enjoying it a lot, i just had 1 question. Is it pssible to do tricks with a created player? I have started a season with brentford and my created player but he just doesnt do any trick at all except for keep-ups.
