Ayi i love the demo.i can't wait till 27th.LOL i Still haven't score a singel yet tho...sounds funny rite.i've so many times.but still not workin.the most fun thing about it is that the CPU haven't win a singel match either so.its fun.i love it.FIFA did a great job this time...Big UP!!

THIS IS SO COOOOL

I was Man U...
I scored with Ronaldo at 42 minutes....
seconds later at 45 mins... Eto'o dived and won a penalty! Henry Scored and i was anoyed.

BUT... Rooney got the ball from the KO... 45 mins gone, passed it long to Tevez, he flicked it past Puyol (which is impossibly usually cos puyol to insanely/annoyingly good on this game) checked back and rand to the byline, knocked the ball up and crossed it and wayne rooney had run the length of the pitch and headed the ball over valdes!!! GOAL!!

THATS WHY I LOVE FIFA!!!!!!!

All in all i really loved it, its is slower than Fifa 07 but it allows the team to build a good attack, and on the otherhand can be fast too, when a good passing rhythm occurs. I would like to have played a second half to really test how the stamina of players holds up, in creating more room to put through balls in, and would like to have tested the custom formation setup too.
But my major problem is the buttons, it says "classic" but its not, i would like the same button setup as fifa 07, mainly, X for change of player, O for close tackles, and R1 for sprinting and R2 for finesse. But i seriously cant wait!

why is the gameplay for fifa 2008 on PS3 sucks so BAD!!!!????

1. too slow
2. impossible to play good defense

Why o why does the PS3 version look so much worse than the xbox 360 version???? what a joke, if ps3 owners are stuck with a graphically inferior version. i know graphics dont count for that much but when we are told this will be next gen and we get shown all these pictures of crystal clear detailed players and stadiums and the end of with a game that looks far worse its a rreal let down. the final ps3 release better look better than this demo or im getting an xbox360.

Does anyone know how many players u are going be able to edit? And can u edit the socks? Like high/low.
And have any body know this it that all the field’s look the same, I mean the pitch, Old Trafford, now camp, Stanford Bridge, san siro, gerland they all look the same, this sucks because I want them to look just like they do on reality, they all have the same grass, I mean this is next gene they should be able to at least make them somewhat alike, this is a really important aspect off the game and people since to forget about it. I would rather have 5 stadiums that look just like they do on reality, then having 30 copies of one stadium.

well tobio, my version looks just fine, but it might have to do with my set up. they look just as good as the pics and videos. it's a ps3 using HDMI Monster Cable hooked up to my 56'' Sony Bravia Flat Screen LCD. And i mean think about this also, it's only a demo version worth about 500mb. when the actual game will be a blu-ray disc worth atleast 10-12 Gigabytes. Plus the Xbox360 doesn't look any beter or worse, they actually look the same, and the plus for PS3 is the Fifa interactive World league, i'm looking forward to knocking you and anyone else who dares opposing me, out of the competition...

Right Well.....
been playin fifa series since i was about 8 and i think this tops the lot so far (UNDERSTANDABLY)
Fifa has progessed ALOT in the past 4 - 5 years !!!
i do agree with the comments regarding gameplay,yes it is quite slow but then again i think it is rather a good thing as you know your games wont be ending 7-0 ect.
Keepers are good & the fluency of their movement is outstanding !
I think the main point for this fifa is the camera angle 'Pro' which is absolutely brilliant , really realistic & authentic !
I understand where people are slightly upset about the pace of the gameplay as apose to previous fifa games !
But come on people its fifa ! IF your not happy go buy pro evo !! & i will asure you you'll regret it!!
ALL IN ALL - BRILLIANT EA , THUMBS UP !!!

you can change the speed settings of the game in the full version but this is the speed of real football , its very realistic you need to get some good build up play to score and decent passing

To be honest I am hoping that the DEMO is not a true reflection of the real game...I am dissapointed at the speed and even with HDMI I really cant tell the difference between 07 graphics and the 08 version. And... what do you mean "this is the speed of soccer"? thats total rubbish guys. The EPL for example is an extremely fast game. have you watched a game recently?
one other thing...
Can you change the "switch player" control back to "x". Using the thumb stick sux big time. "X" works a lot better.
That said it is a lot more realistic in terms of fluency of each players movement but it is way too sluggish for my liking!

the game play is alrite i won a few games loss a few too n drawn alot of them. the thing i dont like is the lack of detail put on some players.such as body hair style(if u play with barcelona u know wat i mean) messy has rooneys body size went he slim not bulky same thing goes for ronaldiho he is tall but he is not bulky players such as messy n puyol look nothing like they r suppost to hope they improved on the

Quick question. With all this negative feedback is EA still planning to release this game on time? i.e. the 27th of Sept? or will it slip now? seems like a massive risk to release it in it's current state.

well, i have spent alot more time with the demo now, and while i am still struggling against the AI, the DEMO IS 2 PLAYER. and since playing verse another human the game has become heaps of fun, still challenging but alot more fun than against the AI.

I still think the graphics are below next gen standards, tons of aliasing and slow dwon and not detail is lacking (on ps3) but the gameplay is excellent and i applaud EA for some of the things they have added.

for anyone wondering: the L1 button can switch players in defense just like the X button used to, so the right stick switching can be ignored (it is pretty hopeless).

I'm going to grab it and hope the finished version is more polished than the demo. Go The Newcastle United jets in the A-league !!!!!
